The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) along with ITEC S.A.S developed this project in order to carry out the probabilistic hurricane hazard and risk assessment in Guatemala, incorporating the impact associated with climate change. To achieve this objective, an examination of the existing information, a conceptualization of the analysis models and a results analysis were carried out. Finally, strategies to complement the existing information were proposed, as well as recommendations for future studies.
